Volunteers Needed!

The American Association of Christian Counselors is proud to present the West National Conference. Don’t miss this tremendous opportunity to interact with hundreds of Christian counseling leaders and colleagues from all over America and around the world. 

We realize the cost involved with attending a conference can be a challenge, so we offer an opportunity to significantly reduce this cost with scholarships for volunteer service.  If you are a professional member of AACC or a spouse of a member, we would love to have you as a volunteer.

Professional Volunteer Opportunities:

Partial Scholarship:  Members can get a $100 discount off conference registration fees by committing up to 15 hours of volunteer service during the conference Wednesday through Saturday.

Full Scholarship:  Members can get a full scholarship for their conference registration if they volunteer up to 15 hours on Wednesday and Thursday prior to the start of the general conference, or if they commit 30 hours Wednesday through Saturday (Wednesday through Saturday volunteers will be required to miss some sessions).

Spouse Scholarship:  Spouses of AACC members can get a full conference scholarship by committing up to 20 hours of volunteer service during the conference Wednesday through Saturday.

Student Volunteer Opportunites:

Full Scholarship:  Students can get a full scholarship for their conference registration if they volunteer up to 15 hours on Wednesday through Saturday (Wednesday through Saturday volunteers will be required to miss some sessions).

Volunteer service may include Continuing Education monitoring, conference registration, airport host, and other duties.  Someone will work with you to coordinate your assignment.  However, specific assignments or schedules cannot be guaranteed.  In order to be a volunteer, you must arrive in Orlando no later than Thursday, April 10 at 3:00 pm and you must stay until the close of the conference on Saturday, April 12 at 4:00 pm (unless you are a pre-conference volunteer).  Some volunteer positions do require individuals to accept the assignment of specific sessions; therefore we cannot guarantee a certain time schedule for conference events.  Please be aware that pre-conference workshops and special events are not included in the general registration fee.  Should you wish to attend these events, you should register for those as soon as possible.  Lodging, transportation and food are not covered.
