The Future of BAACC

BAACC honors Christ and the AACC mission of increasing excellence and unity in Christian counseling. This division is dedicated to working with all AACC members, especially our Black African-American constituents, to develop:

  • Ever greater numbers of counselors, pastors and Christian workers
    to serve Black African-American communities of every kind
  • Intervention strategies and programs for solution-focused counseling, Christ-centered conflict resolution, and faith-based community development
  • Resources, literature, counseling guides, training aids and client-geared materials that are sensitive to the culture and concerns of Black African-American communities
  • Referral sources for those seeking culturally competent Christian counselors
  • Racial reconciliation and harmony between counselors of every race and ethnic background, seeking to incarnate the reconciliation and justice of Christ to us all
  • Greater inclusion of Black African-American authorship, research, conferencepresentation and leadership within AACC and the Christian counseling community
