A Biblical Perspective on Love, Intimacy & Healing

In our society, it’s not very often that you hear God and sex mentioned in the same sentence – unless someone happens to be taking the Lord’s name in vain. Society has taken this wonderful gift from God and so polluted and profaned it that the church, in large part, has come to avoid the subject.

Yet we find in Scripture that God created human sexuality. We see that this beautiful gift was meant to be celebrated and enjoyed. It is a powerful force that draws people together and cements lasting, satisfying relationships.

In spite of this, as we look at our society we see that something has gone terribly wrong. Pre-marital sex, infidelity, pornography, sexually transmitted disease, relational conflict, and much more have tainted our view of sexuality. I believe evil recognizes that sexuality is a powerful force within us and has chosen it as a chief place of sabotage in our world.

We have a problem… but we know that God has a solution. Join us as we seek the heart of God, and discover His truth regarding sexuality.

Through this video-based course, we intend to educate people everywhere about God’s design for sexuality, to train couples, pastors, lay leaders, counselors and anyone else who wants to make a difference in society, and to restore to wholeness those who have been broken by sexual abuse and sin.

With your help, we can create a “safety net” of people who better understand this issue and can ‘be there’ for others in difficult times.

“Healthy Sexuality” is a Distance Learning Certificate Program consisting of a five-units of study—a total of 30, 1-hour lectures developed through AACC’s Center for Biblical Counseling. This 4th educational program from the Center offers the knowledge, skill, and encouragement needed to more effectively address the myriad number of sexual issues and challenges we face today.
