Dr. Henderson’s Prayer Plan for the World Conference

Dear AACC Members,

As we prepare for another life changing experience at the AACC World Conference, Dr. Tim Clinton and the AACC team want to make prayer a high priority in our preparations and shared experiences in Nashville. We believe this added focus on prayer will not only raise our spiritual expectations, but will infuse a fresh sense of spiritual insight and transformation in to everything we do.

Here is how you can be a part of this vital emphasis:

First, we want to pray for you in advance of the conference. We have created an email where you can send your prayer requests. Our team will take time to remember these needs on your behalf, asking the Father for grace in your life at this time. To submit a prayer request, send an email to: Prayer@aacc.net

Second, you can volunteer to be part of our intercessory support team that will be serving at the World Conference. We will have a room set aside for prayer. We invite you to serve for an hour sometime during the conference, as you will be available to pray for those who might come in with specific or urgent needs. Third, participate with us at the World Conference as we will be inserting special moments of prayer into the various gatherings. We will also host a few prayer gatherings to provide a venue where we can cultivate a deeper intimacy with Christ as we seek to apply all that we will learn together at the conference.

Finally, prepare your heart with us. We will be engaging in an approach to prayer called, “Worship—based prayer.“ While we want to seek God’s hand, we first want to seek His face. This experience of Scripture-fed, Spirit-led prayer has been used of God to transform thousands of lives in recent years and we are excited to participate with you in this fresh, scriptural approach to prayer.

We are so grateful for the leadership of Dr. Tim Clinton and the AACC team in casting this vision for increase prayer and look forward to partnering with you in the days to come.
